The site sold pixels as advertising spots at $1 per pixel with a minimum of 100 pixels purchased at a time. 1 Million pixels on the site earned Alex the site owner 7 figures and he became a millionaire! The site did sell out with the last 1,000 pixel block selling on eBay for $38,100 and the site states to this day on the home page that it is Sold Out!
